The Association of Nigerian Medical Scientists in Ireland (ANMSI) held the inauguration of its newly elected leaders which took place in Dublin on 29th March 2025. This significant event marks a new chapter for the organization, as it continues its mission to foster collaboration and excellence among Nigerian medical laboratory scientists in Ireland.
The newly elected leaders and their positions are as follows:
- President: Vitus Ajaegbu
- Vice President: Chika Juliet Ezeama
- General Secretary: Ofem Egom
- Assistant General Secretary: Chikaodili Onu
- Financial Secretary: Prince Chiemerie Eneasato
- Treasurer: Nonso Ndubuisi
- Public Relations Officer: Chibueze Obigeorge (Jogreat)
- Director of Programs: Chukwuemeka Ozougwu (Penko)
- Welfare Officer: Nneka Chidimma Agu
- Ex-Officio: Paul Okafor
According to Vitus Ajaegbu, the brand-new president “these set of leaders bring a wealth of experience, commitment, and vision to achieve the association’s goals. Their dedication to professional development and community engagement promises to elevate the impact of the organization in the health sector globally, in Ireland and Nigeria”.
