Plateau State Association UK Plans for Big Cultural Event

The Plateau State Association, Uk has concluded plans to stage its 2024 edition of Plateau State Cultural Day Celebration in the United Kingdom

The event is scheduled to hold on 9^th November, 2024 at the Krystal Banqueting 452 High Road Ilford, London IG1 1UF

A statement by the organisers reveals that the theme of the event is ‘Rebirthing the Indomitable Plateau Spirit in Diaspora’. It adds that the event is meant to bring the cream of Plateau State indigenes resident in different parts of the United Kingdom together to showcase their cultural uniqueness to its host community. It is also expected to serve as a window for the world to see the huge investment potentials in Plateau state with the aim of strengthening and deepening economic ties and diplomatic engagements.

So far, plans are on the way to have a good representation of the UK business community and politicians grace the occasion to savour the cultural music, dishes and folklore that make Plateau citizens in the UK uniquely different in commitment, professionalism and productivity.

Interestingly, there is also an intense mobilisation of guests from motherland, Plateau state and indeed Nigeria as a whole.  The Plateau State Governor, Barr Caleb Mutfwang, is expected to top on the list of state contingent just as strong overtures have been made to key ministries and parentals at the federal level to attend.

The event will be spotlighted by a colourful parade of cultural attires, a stream of cultural dances, an exhibition of mineral and tourists endowments of the state; as well as the unveiling of the Mr/Miss Plateau State in UK in an audacious display of ancient and modern beauty, skills and character.
