Member Representing Jos South/ Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon. Dachung Bagos is sincerely condoling with the Joint Traditional Council, HRM Da Jacob Gyang Buba, the Barkin Ladi Local Government and indeed, the Berom nation over the gruesome murder of the acting District Head of Foron, Da Bulus Chuwang Janka, who was gruesomely murdered by Fulani terrorists at his residence in Rasat, Foron Dsitrict of Barkin Ladi. The Royal father until his demise was a peace broker and maintained a balance within his domain.
It is unfortunate that while the government is trying hard to bring about peace, especially on the International Day of Peace, some unscrupulous elements are bent on setting back the gains already recorded by the agencies of government.
"I call for calm and restraint from the public but call on security agencies to take every step necessary to make sure that the perpetrators of this heinous crimes are arrested and prosecuted. " Hon. Bagos also calls on the Federal, State, and Local Governments to intensify the peacekeeping and security operations within the Northern Senatorial District with the aim of providing adequate security of lives and properties of the people in the region.
He condoles empathically with the immediate family, the good people of Foron District, the Barkin Ladi LGA, the Gbong Gwom Jos and the Plateau State Government on this untimely death and pray that the repose of the soul of this illustrious father, grandfather, son and uncle; rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the mercies of God, Amen!!
