Former US President, George Herbert Walker Bush is Dead

George Herbert Walker Bush, former President of the United States of America has died at the age of 94. His son, George W Bush, has announced. The news has also been confirmed by his spokesperson, Jim McGrath, who added that the former president died in Houston.

George Herbert Walker Bush, former President of the United States of America has died at the age of 94. His son, George W Bush, has announced. The news has also been confirmed by his spokesperson, Jim McGrath, who added that the former president died in Houston. 
 
George Herbert Walker Bush was an American politician who served as the 41st President of the United States from 1989 to 1993. Prior to assuming the presidency, Bush served as the 43rd Vice President of the United States from 1981 to 1989. He is the father of George W. Bush, the 43rd president.
 
George HW was born on June 12, 1924, in Milton, Massachusetts. He fought in World War II and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1966. 
 
He served as Ronald Reagan's vice president for two terms and then won the 1988 U.S. presidential race, before losing his bid for a second term to Bill Clinton.
 
Afterward, he made appearances for son George W. Bush, who also was elected U.S. president, and co-founded the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund.

His pledge, "Read my lips, no new taxes," came back to haunt him when he lost his bid for a second term to Bill Clinton.
