sitemaster The 2019 Plateau Debate Group has announced that the Plateau Gubernatorial Debate will hold on January 26th, 2019. The group has been working hard behind the scene to stage the gubernatorial debate following the success of the maiden edition which held in 2015.
Speaking further to our correspondent in Jos, the group said:
“In view of the number of candidates contesting for the gubernatorial election in that state, it will be impossible to have all contestants on board for the debate. However, we shall ensure that those who will participate in the debate are selected in a transparent and unbiased manner. An online poll will be generate and made available to the public for voting. The top five candidates will be invited for the debate”
Our correspondent gathered that the debate will be transmitted live on PRTVC and other radio stations in Jos. People will also have the opportunity to follow the debate live from any part of the world through online radio and other applications.
The public is encouraged to watch out for the online poll to vote in their candidate of choice to qualify for final invitation for the gubernatorial debate
