sitemaster The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) turns 50 this year. In a statement obtained from the Ag Registrar/CEO of MLSCN, Sir Tosan Irhabor, “It has been 50 fruitful years of regulatory services in training and practice of medical laboratory science in Nigeria. It’s time to roll out the drums, appreciate all stakeholders and re-strategize in the face of emerging challenges”.
Our correspondent gathered that the MLSCN has concluded arrangements to mark the golden jubilee celebration in style. The theme of the celebration is: Medical Laboratory Science profession in Nigeria: The Past, the Present and the Future. The chairman of the occasion will be Gen Yakubu Gowon GCFR, during whose regime the regulatory body came on board. Beside lectures and stock taking, award presentation, medical outreach, dinner, health walk as well as thanksgiving service make up the menu.
The event has been slated to hold on December 4th, 2018 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. Medical laboratory professionals, policy makers, stakeholders and the general public are expected to grace this celebration of excellence
