Most times we misapply what we regard as love towards the people we esteem highly. We fail to tell them the truth when it is the only remedy to the malady that has made them slump in public rating. Instead, we go with cosmetics of lies to either lubricate, satiate their derailed consciences or to keep our positions in their list of loyalists for ephemeral placations. By so doing, we drive them faster through inglorious paths into forgettable Halls of Shame
In my previous script, I observed that for a new leader to launch out successfully, he must first connect, then correct before he commands. I concluded that it is only in a herd-herder relationship, where mechanical leadership holds sway, that the leader can get results by correcting or commanding without first connecting.
Leadership transition is a delicate time. How the leader begins gives a clue to how he will progress and ultimately end. I propose the CONNECT, CORRECT AND COMMAND theory for the new leader.
